Vision
For over a decade dreams within have driven our path to find hidden possibilities in the human body enabling us to achieve life, longevity and safety while pursing mountain activities. The beginning of the expedition has begun after so many years of planning. Even though there is so much more to explore; we know what we have now is of so much value we have to share it.
Mission
Our Mission is to explore, educate, equip and engage mountaineers in their individual fitness potential to determine whether their human system has an optimal opportunity to navigate and adapt to mountain environments for excursion success. The result yields strategic, adaptive applications to aid in improving any limited high altitude fitness potential.
We hope to build a community of like minds in mountain fitness from which exploration in research, applications, and consumer products concerning efficient human adaptation and performance can be achieved in higher altitude activities creating a safe environment for climbing alone or with mountaineering guides.
What and Where?
A small, advanced altitude adaptation research lab focused on mountain fitness located in Bozeman, Monana with our satellite field research lab located in Denver, Colorado. We have been heavily influenced by a personal passion to develop a process to educate and train for high altitude adventures while reducing the long term negative toll it can potentially cause on the human body. Our goal is to ask the right questions, so we may obtain the research to make the best decisions possible for success.
Who?
Hi, I am Rich Rife, the creator of this research and knowledge camp. I am a sojourner trying to find the most efficient path in physical abilities at altitude while not sacrificing self or at the very least reducing the consequences greatly. The journey began after several brain traumas which lead to focus and adaptive issues along with a slurry of other barriers. Studying chemistry in college was a struggle and gave me a mere foundation to the path (and paths) I would choose for the answer (and answers) I am finding. I apologize to all those in the academia world for not withstanding the fight of time and sacrifice I know you encountered. The route has been with its many failures and tribulations. The ability to work and associate with many different minds as allowed me to ask questions most have never entertained. I am thankful to God and praise Him for giving me this life with all its abilities and opportunities.
